About Us

1SWEETY

Meet Sweetie

Sweetie was picked up by a good Samaritan and turned over to YSDR.  She is so sweet that we had to give her that name.  Sweetie has been spayed and had  some mammary tumors removed.  She has had a check up and blood work done.  She is heart worm negative and actully her blood work up was great. Poor Sweetie is missing teeth had to have extensive dental workl.

Sweetie would love to have someone that would be her constant companion.

We require an application and home visit so please go to our forms link and fill out an adoption application if you are interested in this pup. Please understand that we are all volunteers. We get many many e-mails with request to talk but do not have time to call until we have a completed application.

YSDR is a 501 c 3 Non Profit organization. We are all volunteers. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.

Please note that we have no shelter where our rescues can be viewed. All of our dogs are in individual homes being fostered until they find their forever home. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application.http://www.yorkieandsmalldogrescue.com/application-info/adoption-form.html

After receiving your application, we will then contact you if we have a pet that meets your requirements.

If you live out of state, please note that we only adopt locally.

Thank you
The staff at YSDR
